Emma likes her eggs. I mean she REALLY likes eggs. To the point where she'll happily lick the plate when she gets the chance.
Then she plays around with the plate a bit...
and, finally, the aftermath...

Happy Thanksgiving!
We spent Thanksgiving at Grammy and Papa's house. Here's Emma with her grandparents, hanging out before dinner...
Grammy fed Emma a pre-Thanksgiving dinner feast of ravioli. Emma loves to feed herself nowadays!
Daddy and Emma (he's a little sluggish, since he just woke up from a nap in front of the TV)
And, finally, Emma conked out after eating a little too much turkey for dinner!
Oy, I'm SO full!

Emma's 15-month checkup
Emma had her fifteen month checkup today. The doctor said that she's a perfectly healthy little toddler. She weighed in at 21 pounds (40th percentile), she's 29" tall (somewhere between the 3rd and 10th percentile), and her head is 18" around (which is at the 60th percentile).
Here's a video of Emma, celebrating her checkup with... her bowl.

We're not entirely sure what she's saying, but it's probably something along the lines of "this would be a lot better if there was something in it!"

Cheerios
Emma REALLY loves her Cheerios. She stands by the pantry door, and when you open it she charges in and grabs the box. She'll then bring the box out into the kitchen and try to get into it as quickly as she can.
She's figured out how to open the top of the box, so she can pick her own Cheerios (since the ones we would give her are obviously inferior...)
And she can even pull the bag out! (haha! jackpot!)
She needs to be closely supervised, though, because otherwise we'd have Cheerios all over the floor. Not that Emma or the dogs would mind, but they don't pick all of them up, so we'd have to vacuum!

Emma's pet duck?
Emma has a toy walking duck that Grammy and Papa bought for her birthday. She has finally figured out how to take it for a walk on her own, and boy does she love taking her "pet duck" for a walk (not to mention terrorizing the dogs with it).

Our little helper
Emma doesn't care for hats on her OWN head, but she really enjoys helping other people put theirs on.
Sometimes, though, she really doesn't want to help out when we're picking up.
We'll take what we can get, I guess!
