Children in Box

Emma's new favorite book is Fox in Socks.  Emma constantly tries to act it out.  Here she is as Emma in box:

The Cave

Whenever Emma wants to play with her dollhouse, she builds herself a cave to keep Sarah away from it.  Sarah, if you can find her, is always looking for a way around it and Emma gets indignant about keeping her out (just notice the hand placement near her hips):

Sarah was so tired, and clearly mommy didn't take her to bed fast enough.  So she found a bed of her own:

Chopsticks!

We decided that it was about time for Emma to learn to use chopsticks, so we got her a trainer set.  She's getting really good at it!

She really likes her chopsticks, though we think she's going to insist on using them for EVERYTHING from now on!

9 month check-up

Sarah had her 9 month check-up today.  Overall, she is doing well.  She weighs 18 1/2 lbs (50th percentile); is 26.5 inches (40 percentile) and has a 17.5 inch head (60th percentile).
