Emma is really trying to crawl now. She can scoot backward pretty well, but hasn't quite mastered crawling forward yet. Still, she tries...



and tries...



and every once in a while, it all falls apart!



But, she keeps trying. We think she'll be crawling around VERY soon!

Sorry we haven't posted any pictures or videos lately! I (Brian) have been out of town, and it's been really busy. But, I'm back in town and we've picked the camera up again. Here's one of my favorite pictures from the last couple of weeks - Emma just after we took her out of the bath (well, the sink).

Weekend in Chicago

We went to Chicago last weekend for Emma's cousin Dave's first birthday. Happy birthday, Dave!

Emma was tried and found guilty of knocking things over in restaurants. Here she is, serving hard time.


(Really, it's just the little viewing thing on our front door. But she loves playing with it.)

Emma gets closer to crawling every day. Daddy finally broke down and put child locks on all of the cabinets. Now we can't get into any of them anymore!



Sometimes it seems like she wants to skip crawling and go right to walking. Here she is, trying to stand!

I'm not sure what she's getting at in that second one. Probably a complaint about the service around here.
