Cute things

It has been a while since we posted. Here are some cute things that have happened:

Emma got a ball popper from her Grammy. She doesn't usually push it around, but likes to wield it like a Samurai sword and scare the dogs with it:

Emma has discovered that she has muscles, or at least that is what mommy likes to think of it as:

Emma has also discovered how to wedge herself into places she shouldn't be:

And boy is she determined to stay there and get what she wants:

Emma at the Pumpkin Patch

We took Emma to the pumpkin patch today. She was so eager to go, she didn't even want to wait for Daddy to drive:

Emma had lots of fun helping pick out some pumpkins. Here she is telling mommy which pumpkin to get:

There was also a cider mill; Emma got to see how the press works and she got to keep a souvenir (she is hoping mommy will bake it for her later):

Emma also went on her first hayride. Despite the way it looks, she seemed to enjoy it after the ride started:

Gerber photo search

We entered Emma into the Gerber photo contest with the picture below (she could be a Gerber baby and win a scholarship). For those who didn't get an e-mail from us or Gerber, please vote for Emma. She will need lots of votes to win. You can vote once per day. And if you have multiple computers and e-mail addresses, you can vote multiple times. Each computer can do one vote a day and each e-mail can do one a day (so if you have 2 computers and 2 e-mails accounts, you can vote twice each day). You can vote every day for all of October. The website to vote is:

http://www.gerber.com/Photo/#/vote/

Her photo ID number is 131262.

Thanks in advance to all who vote. We will let everyone know if she wins!

High five!

Emma's learned a new skill, and boy is she proud of herself. Five up high!

p.s. Listen for her laughing - she's got a really cute giggle.

Check please

This restaurant is terrible, I'm outta here.

Emma's driving lessons

Emma really loves her toy car. When Mommy was out running errands, Emma and I spent some time driving around the house. Here she is, happy to be out for a ride.

Fiddling around with the dashboard...

And here she is, wondering why traffic is so bad in our kitchen. Those dogs are ALWAYS in the way!

Sammy was apparently offering to clean her windshield for her.

Finally, time to get going. Turn the ignition and let's go!
