At the park!

Emma loved the park by the zoo. She particularly liked the slide!

At the zoo

We took Emma to Lansing's Potter Park Zoo today. We had a great time! Here are Emma and Daddy, pointing at a bald eagle (which was totally disinterested in us). Emma liked the birds a lot!


Emma really enjoyed watching the otters run around - they're really cute!


She also really liked the ring-tailed lemurs - she watches a show called 'Zaboomafoo', whose star is a lemur. She kept pointing at them and saying 'Zaboo'!


We spent a LOT of time at the lemur exhibit.


She also tried feeding the goats, though we've got some work to do with that particular skill.

All in all, it was a great day!

Mornings in the O'Shea household

This is a pretty typical morning in the O'Shea household. The boss wanders around in a diaper and the oven mitts, surveying her domain...


And then is fed breakfast standing up in her chariot (or wagon, whatever) in the laundry room while her subjects look on.

It's a strange routine, but it works for us (today, at least).

Emma's new shoes

Emma really likes to try on other peoples' shoes. Here she is trying to get around in her daddy's shoes!

Papa has been waiting for Emma to get enough hair for a "tree" on her head. She finally has enough, but just barely!

Emma's rings

Emma's new hobby is wearing the rings from her ring stacker set. She seems to really enjoy stomping around with them!

(Just for the Grandmas: the one on her neck opens - it's totally safe!)

It's not a clown car!

We had to have a talk with Emma after I took these pictures. It's simply not safe to drive like this!


I guess she just wanted to take her big stuffed butterfly for a nice drive around the house...
