Introducing Sarah Elizabeth O'Shea!

Sarah Elizabeth O'Shea was born at 1:03 a.m. this morning, 6/1/2012.  She's 6 pounds, 7 ounces, and is 20.5" long with a 13.5" head.  Mom and baby are both doing very well!

Sarah has to spend a few hours in the NICU (nothing serious - everything's fine!) and here's a picture of her in the ICU.

Aunt Stephanie made some wonderful cookies for us to enjoy while we await Sarah's arrival and they are just too cute not to share:

Emma has already enjoyed locating every cookie that has her name on it and eating them.  Thanks for the great treat Aunt Stephanie!

Manicure

Mommy gave Emma her first manicure and pedicure today, with special kid friendly nail polish.  Emma had a great time with it (she kept saying "this is a fun game" and "oh, so beautiful"):

Heavy Metal

Emma continues to like her music, but is branching out in styles.  Mommy thinks this one sounds a little heavy metal (see if you can recognize the tune):

Sarah's Quilt

Sarah got a beautiful Brown Bear quilt from her Great Aunt Merryl to decorate her room.  We cannot wait for her to see it for herself:

Midget

Emma got an early birthday present from mommy and daddy, a bicycle.  Unfortunately, it is too early for her to even use it, as she is too short to reach the pedals (oops!).

Pretty Princess

Emma likes picking out her own clothes.  And she is a girlie girl (just like her mommy) and loves all the flouncy fru fru dresses:
