Finger painting mess

Emma loves her art, and making a mess.  That is why finger painting is so great; it combines two of her favorite things:

Learner's Permit

Emma got her Chanukah present from Mimi and Papa a little early so she could enjoy it before the snow came.  Mommy and daddy are not so sure they are ready for such a big step as a learner's permit:

 Taking her doll along for the ride (we won't mention the 4 others she stuffed in the trunk):

Getting a little driving lesson (we clearly need some work):

We are certainly not ready for her to have passengers, especially one so tiny:

 And she was gracious enough to allow her sister to have a turn at the wheel (mommy and daddy are REALLY not ready for that one):

Grandma's visit

Grandma came to visit this weekend.  We had a lot of fun!  Grandma helped out, and Sarah had a surprise or two for her...

Emma, fortunately, was there for moral support.

We also went to the park, and Emma had a lot of fun pushing people on the swings.  Grandma was happy to go for a ride!

And, of course, Grandma spent a lot of time hanging around with her newest grand-daughter.

It turns out that Grandma is very, very good at feeding Sarah without making a mess - even better than Mommy and Daddy!

Thanks for coming to visit, Grandma!  We had a great time!
