Weekend in Chicago

We went to Chicago last weekend for Emma's cousin Dave's first birthday. Happy birthday, Dave!

Emma was tried and found guilty of knocking things over in restaurants. Here she is, serving hard time.


(Really, it's just the little viewing thing on our front door. But she loves playing with it.)

Emma gets closer to crawling every day. Daddy finally broke down and put child locks on all of the cabinets. Now we can't get into any of them anymore!



Sometimes it seems like she wants to skip crawling and go right to walking. Here she is, trying to stand!

Emma raspberries

Emma's odd new behavior is to make raspberry noises with her lips. She does it all the time, except when we're trying to get her to do it for somebody else. But, if you're patient enough you can catch it on video!

Emma's newest hobby is helping Grammy with her jewelry-making. She really likes all of the colored crystals, but hasn't gotten the hang of putting the jewelry together yet!

Ready for a busy day at work

Emma filled her lunch bag with formula and apple sauce, and is all set for Take Your Daughter To Work Day. We're not sure that Brian's students are ready for that, though!
