Christmas

Last but not least, Christmas this year!

The Christmas Tree Farm, which we actually did for Halloween, but mommy didn't put there for some reason:

 Pig and Turkey races:

Pony rides:

 Putting up the Christmas tree:

Remembering Sammy with her ornament this year (we love and miss you Sammy):

We took the girls on the Polar Express this year.  What fun that was:

Meeting Santa; both girls asked for lots of Legos this year:

The Elf Family:

 Playing conductor:

Santa came:

 Present time:

Then both girls made their gingerbread houses that they got for Christmas.  Emma's is the Troll and Sarah had Frosty:

Happy Halloween

Here are some fun pictures from Halloween:

Ballerinas for their dance studio Halloween party (so very original):

Emma went as Princess Jasmine for her school Halloween party:

 Halloween Uno at school:

Halloween bingo:
Halloween day we went to IHOP for scary pancake breakfast.  Here is Sarah's decoration:

 Emma's:

Sarah the purple ghost for trick or treating:

And Princess Aurora:

Dance stuff

Here is what has been going on in Dance lately:

The competitive team submitted pictures of the girls so they could be the weather person on one of the local stations.  Here is Emma, the Weather girl:

Emma's dance studio also did some community performances for the holidays.  Both girls had 3 dances and they did really well:

First up, Emma's lyrical routine:

Next, Sarah tap:

Emma contemporary:

Next was Sarah's ballet:

And finally the girls hip hop duet (Emma worked so hard to learn this, and the timing of it, so they could do it by themselves, as their teacher couldn't be there):

So proud of the girls for how hard they have worked at dance this year!

Catch up (Again)

So we have been bad again all fall (no presents for mommy and daddy from Santa this year).  But here is how our Fall has gone:

First up, school stuff for Emma:

School field trips:

Here is Emma playing "Research" while studying how people will study plants and animals at the children's gardens:

Here is Emma playing the sun at the nature center (and showing how everything is connected to, and needs the sun, to survive):

 Learning about the pond animals:

And finally her school winter concert.  Unfortunately, mommy's phone wasn't cooperating, and daddy had Sarah wiggling on his lap, so I only caught Emma's speaking part on video.  But her other piece was a dance to "Deck the Halls":
