Lemonade Stand

We are having our neighborhood garage sale this weekend.  And mommy needed a way to entertain the girls while working, and allow them to participate.  So Emma and Sarah are selling lemonade and snacks:

Sarah wasn't very good about letting people pick their own snacks.  She preferred to hand them one of her choosing (thankfully everyone was very nice about that!):

Here is a little video of Emma selling:

Tea Party

Our local children's garden hosted a tea party on Thursday, so the girls all went.  What fun!

Playing princess engineer before it started:

Waiting at our table for the tea.  It was iced tea or lemonade, with carrots and hummus for appetizer, cucumber sandwiches (Emma's favorite), and a fairy popcorn mix for dessert:

 With the carrot host!

Emma made a wizard bag hat:
Showing off her mad hatter tea cup (made with a plastic egg and button)

 Homemade Alice flowers:

Sarah's favorite part was playing with these little fountains:

Tree climbing

Okay, Grandma & Mimi, don't freak out.  Daddy and I (well, really daddy) helped the girls climb a tree at the park.  They had so much fun, we couldn't get Emma out of the tree:

Even Sarah tried it, sort of:

Vacation part 2

Papa got some pictures and videos that Mommy missed.  So, here is part 2:

The girls played in the Lodge Kids Club one day. Sarah loved the horse on a stick;

Emma learned how to make an origami swan:

Playing Magi Quest, the wand game at each Lodge:

 Enjoying the water park:

Doing some slides & water fighting:

 Enjoying some ice cream:

 With Oliver Raccoon:
Each night, they did face painting.  Sarah got a blue heart every time and loved it:

Emma got a multi-colored tree one day:

And a cat face another:

Here are some pictures from Cedar Point.  Emma on the bumper cars:

Vacation

Mommy, Emma & Sarah went on vacation with Mimi & Papa to Sandusky Ohio.  Boy was it a lot of fun.  Here is a very long post full of vacation fun:

Here are all the girls with their Wiley Wolf ears on (Aunt Stephanie & Kayla came along for vacation too):

Morning snuggle time for the girls:

Then came the early morning play.  One morning it was teaching Kayla to be a frog:

Story time with Papa & Kayla:

Meeting Violet, one of the mascots:

Each night the kids all, in their loudest voices (which suited Emma quite well), did the Great Wolf cheer:

The girls LOVED posing with the cupcake bear at the sweet shop:

We spent a lot of time at the indoor waterpark at Great Wolf Lodge.  Unfortunately, I got very few pictures of it.  Here is Emma enjoying it:

We spent a little time at the mall while Mimi took care of something.  Sarah loved the cars:

We spent one morning at the Wild Animal Park in nearby Port Clinton.  Emma really loved it.  Sarah heard the llama snort once and ran for the back of the truck:

One of the buffalo up close (Emma called it Head Bump):

Here is Emma feeding a llama that was more accurately a pig, based on its eating:

The girls with the souvenirs from the animal park:

Another day we went to Cedar Point.  Sadly, there were no large roller coasters for mommy, but Emma & Sarah had a blast (once Sarah took a 5 minute nap).  Here is Emma with a few of the characters:

Happy Birthday Sarah

Hard to believe, but Sarah turned 2 very early this morning.  Here is the fun celebration we had with everyone:

Sarah LOVES opening presents.  She isn't really interested in what is inside, as long as it can be unwrapped.  Here she is opening her new book from Aunt Stephanie, Uncle Mike & Kayla:

Getting some help with mommy to open her new fishing pole from Grandma & Grandpa:

Getting help from her sister to open the present Emma picked for her (a stuffed unicorn):

After presents was cake.  This time she had a Mickey cake, but Doc put in an appearance by way of a candle:

The kids sure enjoyed it:

Thanks to everyone for coming to celebrate with Sarah and for the great gifts!
