Baby Animal Day

Baby Animal Day was a few weeks ago here at MSU.  The girls really love getting to look and pet all the animals.  This year, the highlight was a 3 day old goat!

Here are the girls milking the pretend cow:

Emma took a try at milking a real one too!

 Riding the tractor:

Sarah riding the pretend horse:

 Emma with the corn man:

Holding the baby chicks:

Emma was brave enough to try the bucking hay bale:

Both girls tried their hand at steer roping:

And then both girls tried their hand at shoveling "manure."  They had a great time with this, yet somehow never want to help clean up the much smaller piles the dogs make!

Golf

Emma's golf lessons are back in full swing.  She is doing really well.  Here she is learning how to line up a putt:

Practicing on the driving range:

She even gets to play the holes each lesson:

Sarah comes along for the ride.  But even she manages to get a couple of hits in.  She starts her golf lessons in June and is super excited:

Family dance

The girls dance studio had a family dance a few weeks ago.  The girls loved it.  Here is daddy and his girls:

 Emma dancing with daddy:

Sarah only wanted to dance with mommy:

Here are the girls doing their dance moves:

Then they tried their hand at YMCA.  Turns out it was harder than Emma thought:

She finally got the hang of it.  Sarah, not so much:

And last, but not least, the Chicken Dance:

Now they are ready for any potential weddings coming our way!

Cousins

We went to Chicago in early April over Emma's spring break.  The girls had tons of fun with their cousins.  They went to watch Dave at his floor hockey camp and even got to play a little:

 Then came cosmic bowling.

Photo backlog

So we have been very bad about updating the blog this year (sorry)!  So now we have a photo backlog.  Here is some old winter fun.  On one of the school teacher in-service days, we had an indoor picnic/tea party:

Then we bundled up and played in the cars in the yard:
