Sarahlarity

Sarah has been doing some pretty funny things lately, like playing hide & seek:

And finding a new way to watch TV:

Tea Time

Lately Emma has been obsessed with tea parties (she comes by it honestly, as her mommy was too, for a very long time).  So mommy broke out her tea set and we had a tea party:

Science Project

Emma is clearly a girl that takes after her daddy.  She wanted to learn about the planets, so she made a solar system with her daddy:

Here daddy is helping her paint her Earth and telling her about it:

Here she is painting the sun:

We had some extra "planets" so Emma made Planet Mickey and Planet Googly Eyes:

And the finished solar system, hanging in daddy's office (where Emma asked for them to go):

Weekend with Mimi & Papa

Mimi and Papa kept mommy, Emma & Sarah company while daddy was out of town.  The girls had a great time:

Here she is cooking breakfast with Papa (Emma made great egg sandwiches):

Snuggling with Papa after breakfast:

Here was the family (though mostly Emma) making shaped hamburger patties for dinner:

Here were some of the finished shapes (recognize the heart, the U.S. map, a gingerbread man, a snowman and a flower):

And snuggling with Mimi after a long day:

Thanks so much for a great weekend Mimi & Papa!

Merry Go Round

This was at our indoor playground.  I think the girls had more fun on this than the playground:

Who's Ready for Vacation

The family is going to Disneyland in 4 short weeks.  Look who is already ready to go (mommy DID NOT put them up to putting these on):

New Activities

Here are some other new things mommy has come up with for the girls to do during this cold, wet winter.  Cup stacking:

 And window painting:

Geography

Emma loves her new map of the US puzzle she got for Christmas and has been asking to visit all 50 states.  So mommy started doing geography with her.  We learn about the states and make a fun poster each week.  Here are her first 2:

Next up: Illinois!
