Merry Christmas

Mommy didn't get a ton of pictures over Christmas, but here are a few of our time in Chicago!
Outfits, day 1:

 The whole family:

Santa seemed unsure about Santa this year:

Emma had no problems with him at all!

Day 2 outfit (Sarah insisted on the same one again, so it is not shown):

Christmas Part 1

We did our family Christmas on Sunday morning.  Boy did the girls enjoy!
Here is Emma coming down to see the presents:

Sarah seemed a little confused by what all her sister's excitement was about:

Excitement over the smallest things they got to unwrap:

Modeling their new dresses:

Displaying their wonderful ribbon twirling (while in costume).  The ribbons were part of their Chanukah presents this week:

Emma also had a holiday party at her school that Mommy and Sarah got to attend.  The best part was building gingerbread houses (or more accurately the Snack Attacks that allowed them to periodically eat a piece of the candy)!

Frozen Meet & Greet

The girls, and mommy, went to a Frozen Sing Along and Meet & Greet.  The girls had so much fun:
Waiting in line with their friends, Mya & Tyler, to get in:

 Face painting:

Sarah didn't want her face done, so she has Olaf on her arm:

 Meeting Elsa & Anna:

During the sing-along, the girls were dancing in the aisle:

Christmas

The season is upon us.  We have put up our Christmas tree and had our first Santa sighting:

Here are the girls putting their special ornaments on the tree (this year they were My Little Pony):

Our fully decorated tree:
We saw Santa on Saturday at a local tree farm.  Here is the family all jammed into the train car to get out there (turns out the Polar Express was not really meant for adult behinds):

Emma with Santa.  When asked what she wanted, she said a cupcake pan and picture frames (odd!):

This high five was as close as Sarah would get to Santa:

With Mrs. Clause.  Mommy had to be in the picture or Sarah wouldn't get close:

 Driving Santa's sled:

Elsa!

We ran into Elsa at Target.  The girls were thrilled!

Happy Thanksgiving, Birthday & Chanukah

We have been a bit negligent about posting.  But it has been a busy time for everyone.  Here is what happened over Thanksgiving.  The whole Wurtzel side of the family was at Mimi's house.  Sadly, I have no pictures from actual Thanksgiving, but here are others:

The grandkids all camping out on Mimi's floor where they slept:

 Beauty salon party:

 Snack time:

Emma and Sarah each put on a little concert while we were there.  Emma sang a song from Rainbow Rocks (Shake your Tail):

Sarah sang her favorite, Let It Go:

We also celebrated Kayla's second birthday.  Here was the pretty Minnie cake and all the kids helping to blow out the candles:
